This site belongs to Justin Roberts. This page explains what the site collects, where it goes, and how to reach us about it.

Who runs this site

Justin Roberts, PO Box 6544, Evanston, Illinois 60204. For anything about your information, email info@justinrobertsmusic.com.

Email signups

When you sign up for email, we collect your first and last name, your email address, the city you’d like a show in (where the form asks), and which form you used. The quick signup on the rocket takes only your email address and which form you used. Everything is stored in MailerLite, our email service. You’re added to the list as soon as you sign up, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Your location

When you submit a signup form other than the rocket’s, your IP address goes to ipinfo, which estimates your city, region and country. We save that estimate with your signup so we can tell you about shows near you. Nothing is looked up until you press the button. MailerLite also stores the IP address you signed up from.

The contact form

The contact form sends your name, email, topic, city and message to Justin Roberts’ email through Framer’s form service. We use it to answer you.

Hosting and analytics

Framer hosts this site. Its built-in analytics count visits, pages viewed, where visitors came from, and an estimate of their country and device type. Framer says it sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you: it counts daily visitors by scrambling your IP address and browser details with a key it deletes every day.

Ads

We use Meta’s advertising tools (the Meta pixel and its Conversions API) to see how our ads on Facebook and Instagram are doing and to show ads to people who have visited this site. Meta and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to collect or receive information from this site and elsewhere on the internet, and use it to measure and target ads. The pixel sets cookies in your browser.

On this site, it tells Meta when a page is viewed, when someone signs up for email and which form they used, and when someone clicks a ticket or store link. This site doesn’t send Meta your name, your email address or anything else you type into a form. Meta may still recognize your browser if you use Facebook or Instagram.

You can opt out of this kind of advertising at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu, and you can change your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

Videos, tour dates and links

YouTube’s player (youtube-nocookie.com) loads only when you press play on a video. From then on, YouTube’s privacy policy applies.

Tour dates load from Bandsintown when they come near the screen. Bandsintown’s widget also loads Google Tag Manager and a Bandsintown tracking pixel. Its Follow button and date links go to Bandsintown, where its own policy applies.

The Store and Buy links go to our shop at shop.justinrobertsmusic.com, which runs on Shopify and has its own privacy policy. The shop uses the Meta pixel too, and what it shares with Meta is covered by its own policy. Links to streaming services, bookstores and social media are just links.

Children

This site is written for parents and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think your child has signed up or sent us a message, email us and we’ll delete it.

Your choices

To see or delete what we hold about you, email info@justinrobertsmusic.com. You can unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it.

Changes

If the site starts collecting something new, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
